This should be your first stop. The ladies in here will prove you with maps, answer your questions and make recommendations. They may even tell you some secret spots. They have a restroom as well. Lots of brochures to give you. The ladies are super helpful and friendly.

Great spot to collect brochures and use the restroom since a lot of the main street shops do not have restrooms. The staff on site are very helpful Answering questions and offering suggestions.

The visitor center has alot if information for anyone who wanted to know about the history of Mt. Airy and surrounding area also the lady is very helpful. Their is alot of things to do while visiting the downtown area.

We came in here to find out information on the town and any upcoming events. The little lady that was working in here was the absolute nicest woman and she was very knowledgeable of the town. She is very proud of the town and she is a great representative of Mt. Airy! She told us all the fun things that could be done in a couple hours and encouraged us to come back again!
