The volunteer staff was knowledgeable on other area attractions and attentive to our questions and desire to know more about the area! We received materials, maps and brochures that were helpful as we took a self-guided walk around the west village and brightleaf!

This tiny stand alone building is almost easy to miss. What it lacks in size, it makes up for in amazing history. From its beginning, this museum tells visitors all about the incredible history of Durham, N.C.
The staff are polite and helpful. Donations are accepted at this free museum.
