After searching long & hard for a slab that fit our criteria I found Nico through a facebook marketplace listing and have never been more grateful for facebook. He was quick to respond and very professional. I needed a slab to make a dining room table out of and I thought we were never going to find something, but Nico not only had it all (at least 4 feet wide and 8.5-10 feet long), he had options. We made an appointment to come see what he had and were not disappointed. We were torn between two slabs but the historical European Elm from Prospect Park won us over. His pricing was unbeatable, the process was quick and he was great about taking it somewhere for us to get it flattened before bringing it home. He stayed with the slab while it was being flattened to make sure it was done right and kept us updated through the whole process. When we picked up the slab I was so happy I could cry — it’s a work of art and it’s not even close to done yet. I know where we’ll be going for any and all wood/milling needs we have in the future and will definitely be recommending N&H to any and everyone we know.

Purchased two slabs of copper beech… dried, planed, and sanded to 80 grit. We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the product provided and even more importantly the level of service from start to finish. Nico cares about what he is doing. Kudos, young man!
