Dr. Patel performed a spinal fusion on my lumbar spine in May 2023. This was considered a revision surgery as it was my second surgery on the same level.

Dr. Patel and Stacey were both so amazing throughout the whole experience. I had a ton of questions throughout the process since I had what I consider a bad experience with the last surgery. Each question was thoughtfully answered.

Their bedside manner was absolutely amazing and they made sure I was taken care of while I was in the hospital and also after the surgery. I ended up with a wound that was stubborn to heal and they saw me weekly until it resolved to their satisfaction (and mine).

I hope this surgery fixes my issue, but if I were to need another spine surgery, I would not hesitate to see Dr. Patel.

Let me start by saying what an amazing doctor. Dr. Patel is someone who cares for his patients and it shows. He did surgery on my back and did an excellent job. Thanks doctor Patel for putting me back together again. And I might add he will have you laughing which is good for the soul.

Dr Patel and his staff have all taken very good care of me - I am 3 weeks post surgery (repair previous L4-S1 fusion due to auto accident, new injury at L2-L3 repaired). Dr Patel explained everything in full and with patience and understanding. He was also very encouraging and positive going into surgery and in the weeks after surgery has been very supportive and positive in how he's reviewing my recovery. He says I'm way ahead of the curve with my recovery, and I believe that's in no small part due to his skill and talent. I would highly recommend Dr Paten to anyone needing a neurosurgeon/neuro specialist.

Due to a sports related injury I had to undergo a laminectomy and discectomy. Dr Patel was very knowledgeable and did a very good job explaining the process from start to finish. Surgery was very smooth and despite anxiety the staff did very well at helping to eliminate that feeling. Prior to the surgery I had my PT scheduled and mobility was priority. At my post op I was given a firm plan on how to return to game to play. The entire process was without flaw, timely, and supportive. Highly recommended!

My husband and I are both in healthcare so we are very picky when it comes to providers and their staff. Dr. Patel and his entire team are outstanding, they surpassed all of our expectations. He is kind, has an incredible bedside manner, takes the time to explain exactly what is going on and options to fix it. He is not surgery happy and will try everything else first. I did end up needing surgery and he walked me through my fears and answered all of our questions. Not once did I feel rushed or like just another patient on his schedule. While at the hospital every staff member I encountered told me how amazing he is and how I was in the best hands. It is so reassuring to hear that from nurses because they spend the most time interacting with the doctors. For something so scary I had a wonderful experience and feel great.

Dr. Nimesh H. Patel is a Neurosurgery & Spine Specialist who has greatly improved my quality of life. When I met with Dr. Patel for a consultation concerning my MRI and back history, his demeanor and personality instilled confidence in his expertise as a surgeon. Dr. Patel explained the results of my MRI and shared with me that the MRI had revealed severe stenosis in my lower back. He then shared with me that he could provide relief from my back pain, and possibly prevent further damage in the future. Dr. Patel was kind and displayed a genuine concern for my health and well being. The surgery went well, and I experienced pain relief early in the weeks following surgery. Stacey Castellanos, a Nurse Practitioner who works with Dr. Patel, was excellent and very supportive during this process and my surgery. Dr. Patel is an excellent surgeon, and I would highly recommend him to anyone suffering with back pain.
