Went on a Saturday. Sat in the Freedom Garden for nearly an hour and it's poignant beauty literally choked me up. Spent about 3 hours learning about Hall County and Gainesville which have a deep and interesting history. Best Saturday morning I have spent in a long time. I'm not native to Hall nor Gainesville but this is home now. No one progresses into any kind of future unless they know where they have been. This will broaden your mind and knowledge. If you're a vet it will connect you to the history of local vets who gave it all for hearth, home and country.

We love the History Center at Brenau! We have attended 2 homeschool days so far, each have been unique and well planned! Our teens loved it and learned info about Rome and The Great Depression…..would highly recommend becoming a member of you plan to participate in several of their events …. Check out the family days, as well! Highly recommend!

We attended a free Family Day Event showcasing the history of games. It was great! I homeschool my 13 and 15 yo boys and this was a great learning opportunity! Will definitely be returning ?

This is a great place to visit with your pre teens, it has historical artefacts and facts of our city Gainesville GA, it is located in the heart of the City! Stop by, i loved it and my 12yo daughter too!!
