I just moved to Oakwood NEGa physicians group. I made an appointment about two months ago. My appointment was coming up soon in May then I just get a phone call and this is March and they tell me she’s no longer taking new patients even though I was already set up for a physical with her in May and they have no other woman doctor there they want me to see a nurse practitioner or whatever and they just booted me out they are always changing doctors and I think it’s a sorry, organization

I have been seeing Dr. Strauther for almost a year now and I have had a couple of in-office visits as well as telehealth visits. She is always professional and very knowledgeable. The front desk staff are always friendly and helpful. Although I relocated and this office is not convenient for me, I still choose to see this doctor for my healthcare needs.

Went for an urgent care visit and was seen within 10 minutes. Staff berry friendly as well.

I went in for an incident that occurred at work, to which they claimed I needed to fill out a form for. The lady(who's name I did not get) met me with a harsh attitude. Not once did they specify what form they needed, nor did they give it to me so I could fill it out and/or bring it to my manager to fill out. With them not giving me any information, I left and went to work to get my incident report and contact information of my manager. When I returned, I was met with the same ugly attitude and was told that I did not bring the right forms. I gave her my managers email so she would be able to email said form to her, which she did not do. I ended up walking out and going to a different location because the lack of help and extreme attitude was just unbearable. First and last time going here.

I was going to try to make this my primary provider, but the doctor here wanted to quadruple the amount of visits that I had per year. I paid more in 1 month than I paid all year at my previous physician, which I ended up going back to, even though the drive is so much further.

There haven't been any reviews for a year, and let me tell you, changes have been made!

My husband and I had to find new PCPs as ours closed their office. We were referred to NGPG Oakwood and how thankful we are that we were!

They have a couple of "new" MDs, and they are both wonderful. I see Dr. Allie Angel and my husband sees Dr. Sergio Angel. Both are very thorough, knowledgeable, and kind. Dr. A. Angel takes time to explain everything in a way everyone can easily understand. My husband says Dr. S. Angel does the same.

Also, I was able to get blood drawn for lab work, and my husband was able to have an x-ray in the same building as our appts, which is very nice and convenient. All of the office and medical support staff we encountered were kind and helpful as well.

For those with Spanish-speaking family/friends looking for a primary provider, you will be pleased to know that the office staff, medical support staff, and providers are Spanish-speaking.

I unfortunately was recommended this place to be my primary care provider. Dr. Strauther has zero people skills and withholds blood pressure and heart medication from patients who do not have the money to come in every month for a visit. I’ve never been treated so poorly by a doctor, and am looking for new care immediately. Also, when trying to get my prescriptions refilled Abbigal the front desk receptionist was very rude and hung up on me when I had questions multiple times.

The doctors and staff here are very kind and helpful. They go the extra mile to take extra care of their patients here. They make you feel at ease. Most of all they take the time to listen to your concerns and questions about a family members health. I appreciate that very much.
