I haven't been inside this museum in 25 years. Very bright and well laid out. Not a large place but still has plenty of room to walk around and explore all the exhibits. The top floor has beautiful views of the surrounding area. But, it's a tight squeeze on the circular staircase and it's top floor.

Excellent little museum. It is smaller but has quite a few interesting local history items to view and read about. You can also opt for an audio tour in each room. Myself and the family were pleasantly surprised. If you are at the beach. You should go ahead and stop here also. Harriet in the stairwell was a nice touch.

Awesome museum with great information and educational materials. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, and the scenery is amazing. This is a great place to take the family or a school group, or just to visit on your own. The hours are a bit random, though, so be sure to check the website or call before you go.

Really a nice museum for a $5 admission fee. If you are interested in the 1915 Eastland disaster there is a nice display inside the museum as well as a chain memorial outside. If you visit, be sure to push the blue button in each room and you hear information on the items in each room. Worth the stop if you are near Michigan City.

This is a nice, small local museum. The staff was eager to teach us and all very kind.

The highlight was being able to climb to the top of the Lighthouse and to look out! We also appreciated that Kids under 14 were free making it very affordable.

I will say not all of the memorabilia was tied to lighthouses but did connect to the area.

There are NO public restrooms. We had to leave, drive to find one, and come back.
