Wow! What a neat and fun experience to walk through all of these buildings and be able to see machines and tools that date way back from 1850 - 1950. From tractors and chainsaws to a blacksmith shop, then to a little barn area where there are a bunch of saddles and equipment that you could hook your horse up to, to help around the farm. This place really has a ton of historical artifacts that show how early American life was. It's on a big piece of land in East Texas with gorgeous trees, green scenery and a small little lake. You can't swim in it but it's still a beautiful little peaceful place to take the family. There are plenty of places to sit and relax and tons to see. At the very end of the walkway is an adorable little chapel where you can ring the bell at the Bell Prayer Tower. Then when you're done walking around outside, head inside the Old Mill Pond Museum for some AC and take a walk around the two story building with old tools, medical equipment, kitchen and laundry artifacts, musical instruments and so much more. Admission is free also and they also have an elevator for those in a wheelchair or those who can't walk upstairs.

The general store is one of the many buildings they have on this beautiful piece of land and it is a quaint little shop with cute souvenirs and local honey you can purchase. The lady who runs the store is so sweet and kind. You won't regret visiting this awesome little place.

I love this museum! It feels like an oasis! There's so much Americana on display. It's like traveling back in time to a simpler time.

There are several buildings to explore, from a beautiful chapel to a general store. There is so much to see! and the drive out here is wonderful. I highly recommend visiting, so much so that I'll make a second visit with my family next month.

This is a must check out. Takes about an hour to calmly stroll through the area. Lots of historical farming gear. Lots of shade. The museum has a lot of different things including a model T, kitchen tools, train collections, a surprising amount of old instruments, and more. Staff is super friendly and happy to chat about the artifacts.

Beautiful museum, free admission, handicap friendly with elevator in the main museum. Bring quarters! There’s a doc off the back of the museum where you can feed the fish and turtles. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I also noticed some picnic tables by the chapel, would be a quaint place for a picnic.

Very nice museum with plenty of old household and farm equipment. Lots of buildings to sheck out and there is a small pond with fish you can feed. The man at the counter was very nice. The museum is free to tour. There is a donation box there which I made a donation in. They have a water wheel which you can observe turning some equipment inside the building through the use of leather belts. This place is well worth a visit.

This place is worth the stop. Everyone working here is amazingly friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome things to see and sooooo much history. The little shop/market has awesome local goods and the prices are fantastic.

This place is super cool if you have an appreciation for history or engineering. Lots of old tractors and tools. Best part is it's free, donations are appreciated. Wife and I spent about 2 hours here checking everything out, and I'm sure we still managed to miss something! There is so much to see here. Check out the backdoor that takes you to the pond. There are TONS of turtles in the pond and they have a feed machine (.25¢) and you can really get them coming from all over the pond!
