I wish there were negative stars. I was in so much pain that I needed to leave work and be drove out to the ER. Not only was i treated like shit by the doctor but he would not listen to me. Diagnosed me with " trouble to urinate". MY SPINE IS CURVED!! I could not stand straight up, could not walk, could barely move period and was diagnosed with " difficultie to urinate" and sent on my way and was told to just find a comfortable position to be in until it passed. Went back out after a couple hours. He finally listened to me and said he's gonna put "back pain" on my notes and get me pain meds. After 2 hours of waiting I looked out to find him sitting at a computer doing nothing. After 2 hours of waiting they finally came in and prescribed me pain beds... TO THE WRONG PHARMACY AN HOUR AWAY. I am still in so much pain and have never been more pissed off. Save yourself the money and go someplace else.

Saying this hospital's ED is a bandaid station is being nice.. I was in so much pain that I was willing to give them a try as they are local, and wish I would have toughed it out and traveled to a different ED. No one told me what tests were being ran, why the were running them, or the results of them. At the time I was in so much pain that I didn't ask but looking back I am very unhappy. I went in with severe back pain and my HR was up and down with no change in activity. After running blood work, and EKG (that wasn't listed on the report) urinalysis, and a CT scan, Dr Ahearn decided to refer me to physical therapy. I was discharged and removed all of the electrodes just for Dr to come back in and decide that after talking to ANOTHER Dr they needed to send me to Peoria for a specialized test and were keeping me in ER all night until a bed was available in Peoria. Walked in with a portable ultra sound machine and stated he was going to check out my gallbladder and see if the CT missed a stone, the gallbladder that I havent had for 16 years. IV in one arm (that wasn't placed until after being there for 3 1/2 hours) BP cuff on the other, with no choice but to lay on my back which was the most painful position. Decided I was done and on the verge of a panic attack and ended up going home. The communication between staff was poor and the communication with patients is even worse. The only people that made me feel welcomed were the admissions girls, security guard and one of three nurses that I had. I would never recommend this ED to anyone.

My doctor sent me to the ER because I coughed up blood, shortness of breathe, a bad cough, and extreme sore throat. Along with the fact my voice is gone and my doctor said i could have torn my windpipe and did what she could. The ER did a chest xray and tested me for covid, flu, and RSV. They said it would take an hour. Ahern only came into the room for maybe 3 minutes the entire 3 hours I was there. They never looked at my throat. They never told us the results of the tests. They gave me an antibiotic and another inhaler. Ahern had an attitude the few moments we seen him. The only plus side I could say about this visit was that the nurse Rhett was very kind and helpful.

Took our daughter in for flu with dehydration. The staff was very friendly, explained each step of care, and got her feeling much better. Lucky to have a hospital locally with staff (Tara, Ann, Drayson, and Dr. Ahearn) that were tremendously caring and kind.

On Thursday February 6th 2025 my husband who is a truck driver got very sick an called 911 he was taken by ambulance to this location. He was tested , treated , an released , the staff treated him with great care even assisting him with hailing a cab an recommend a hotel. Did I mention we are from Texas and he was a great distance from home .

How many times can you poke someone to find a vein? Must be a ton because if the er nurse is even bad at it then maybe you should stop trying.....

If I could give it half a star I would. Got transported here yesterday with severe pain in my kidney area, intermittent fever, nausea ,high blood pressure in the morning and I've been sick for weeks with this and I finally had the courage to go to the hospital for help because when I get infections I'm always gaslit by medical professionals and let's start with they took forever to have a nurse come in to the room and set everything up nurse Amy was unprofessional she popped 3 of my veins then when I complained she said it doesn't hurt that bad and her behavior was aggravated and hostile. Then Dr Ahearn heard just a little from me then made up his mind in less then a minute. No fluids even though I was dehydrated they just pumped me with fentanyl and discharged me like your typical druggy they couldn't even help with transport to Toulon so I could pick up my car. News flash total lymphnodes are not supposed to be high unless infection,cancer, hypothyroidism, mine are. This is why the US ranks #42 in healthcare.Profits over people don't help.

Took my daughter in to have her checked cuz she has had a 7 day fever, horrendous cough, fatigue, sore throat and can't even eat. He did no tests. I told him I was concerned about her having pneumonia and wanted a chest x-ray. He said no and sent us home. All he did was listen to her back. We were only there maybe 30 minutes. He did nothing Tell your incompetent, uneducated Dr that X-rays from another hospital show different. He needs fired.
