I enjoyed this more than I ever thought. I would my families from town . I went there just for some time to kill and I learned a lot, and I stayed a lot longer than I thought. I would. It was the people working there made it very interesting and they were very knowledgeable, we did the titanic display across the street. Also it was very very interesting. I really would recommend this to anybody who comes to person county for vacation

Loved red, white & blue decorating gazebo for July 4th holiday. Historic sign for the Roxboro tobacco market on side of tobacco barn. Nice area to park & walk even when museum building is closed. The mature trees are awesome

We had a wonderful time experiencing life in the past! My 9-year-old grandson was very interested in all the things he saw. Being a Titanic enthusiast, he LOVED the Titanic displays. Great staff! Very knowledgeable! Will be going again!

A fine local museum run by a dedicated staff. I had the day to spend in Roxboro and this is a great way to use your time. Several reconstructed buildings, lots of artifacts donated by the locals, guided and self guided tours.

I was by myself so I was able to interact with the guide the way I like to by having the time to ask questions. I had moved to Person County in the 8th grade and then moved to Durham County 2 years after college. Otherwise I would have known, and was delighted to learn, that a woman who was a member of my church, whose family I knew, started the museum. I did not get to see all of it because there was so much to look at in the time that I had. Person County has produced many important people, some who were famous , in government, military, and entertainment. As a retired teacher, I appreciate even more now, both the history of a previously very rural county, which still has farming, and certainly the people remembered and honored at the Museum.
I will go back later to tour the other buildings.

This is a good museum with lots of Interesting material on person county. They have several old buildings and period decorations. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about the area and the artifacts in the museum. Will go again
