#3 is lots of fun and gives off the same great vibes as the other Pinehurst courses. Bring your short game - there are birdies and bogeys everywhere.

It's a super fun course. Our plans changed due to bad weather, so we snuck out and caught number 3 later in the day when it dried out.

I remember thinking I was disappointed that this was going to be one of the courses instead of 4 but once we got to the third hole all of that went out the window.

beautiful undulations on the course and tough greens more than made up for the lack of distance, honestly it never really felt that short of a course besides a few par threes that were less than 100 yards, and the greens were so challenging that it easily made up for the lack of distance.

Yes, 2 and 10 are epic larger-than-life courses and well worth the money, 3 would be the course I would most likely play if I lived in the area.

Awesome short course that is par 68, 5100 yds. Challenging Donald Ross greens, with bunkers in the perfect locations to make you think about every shot. Conditions are great. It’s a mini Pinehurst No. 2/4 that will help get you ready for those two. Highly recommend.

Interesting short course, makes you work all aspects. I was a little disappointed in the tee box conditions and the quality of the sand traps especially compared to PH #5.

Enjoyed our time today at number 3. The course was in phenomenal shape. The greens are great preparation if you are playing number 2.

We were very disappointed in the starters. We were unsure of where to check in for number 3 and proceeded to first hole. When we didn’t see a starter, I walked back to a starters shed closer to course number 5. The starter proceeded to guilt me and make me feel bad that we didn’t check in there. It felt disrespectful. Furthermore, my grouping who remained at the tee box was approached by a ranger who replicated a similar experience as mine. Overall, we were very disappointed.

I highly recommend the course. As someone taking a vacation Friday and spending a pretty penny to play a premier golf course, I don’t recommend it because of our experience with the starters.

Plenty of other good courses in the area that don’t give you a hard time.

This place charging $100 bucks this time of year is a joke. Place was a complete dump of a hole. Spray painted greens. All dead fairways and yellow tee boxes. What a piece of $hit. Even the other Pinehurst courses looked like absolute trash. This could be the most overrated golf resort on earth. All dead hard ground and sand. Truly a waste of money. Go anywhere else.
The Cradle for 50 bucks is also stupid. Should be free or 10 bucks.
Ive played some $hitholes but #3 here takes the cake. Yellow deadgrass sprinkled all over the greens. No need to play 2 or 4. Aint worth it

Played this course because No 1 was closed due to all the construction for US Open. This course is the No 2 Mini, its really tough, very hilly but the condition is just superb. Paid $135 per person (4/23/24)
