The service at the Pro Shop was outstanding and answered all of my questions. The starters were great and helpful. The course was awesome to play. There was a lot of rain during my visit, and the course was in great shape. There were some wet tee boxes, but overall the course was in great shape all things considered. The greens had some nice speed to them. Overall had a great experience playing No. 5. I would highly recommend.

What a treat to play this course. Fairways not too tight even though it did have a lot of OB on the course. Greens were quick but had true roll making it for a great time. Several great holes to make it a challenge.

Not worth the price. $110 for a lackluster semi private course I'd pay no more then $60 for. I've played 2 and 4 and those were worth the $. Didn't know what to expect on other tracks and was extremely disappointed given the price.point.

If you are visiting Pinehurst for a golf getaway and aren’t staying at the resort you will only have access to courses 1,3 and 5. We played Number 5 as we foolishly thought you can’t go to Pinehurst and not play at least one of the courses. Well don’t make the same mistake! With eight minute Tee time intervals the course is dreadfully slow! The ‘Pace’ marshals are no where to be found after the first hole and as a result you end up waiting behind three groups on par three holes like the 12th. The entire course is ‘condo’ golf and isn’t worth the exorbitant green fees.

Visit Pinehurst to play Pine Needles, Mid Pines and Tobacco Road which are truly great Sandhill courses.

The course was beautiful, that's where it all ends. I have never encountered such rude employees in my life! This is definitely the Disneyland of golf. Zero hospitality, from the ranger to the women we met at the hotel consierg desk to the boy in the pro shop, they were snobs and treated you as if they were doing you a favor. This was supposed to be a celebration event for a friend and instead we were treated like dirt. There're way to many excellent golf courses to play in the sandhills than to spend your money with these jerks. I live on the Neuse in Clayton and my course is in better shape and is staffed by people who are grateful your have come to play and treat you like it! Okay, I played at Pinehurst, big deal, the only thing missing was some clown dressed up as putter boy. Won't be back!!

Didn't golf but what a wonderful place. We did both the little nine hole putting green and par 3 course. Had a great time. Awesome clubhouse. Food was great. I look forward to going back.

It’s a fun track with a fun layout! Nothing to special about #5 kinda the run of the mill track in my opinion.

Really enjoyed this course and it's layout. Fairways were not too narrow, and greens were quick. I would definitely go back.
