Very pretty. The course has beautiful terrain. Definitely some fun changes in elevation that will have you clubbing up on a few shots. Many of the homes on the course are beautiful as well. No. 7 is worth playing at least once.

We played Pinehurst 7 and had a nice round. Pace of play was 4 hours 15. We were a 4 some followed by numerous 2 somes which became an issue resulting in our feeling rushed. Bunkers were not up to Pinehurst standards with hard pan in several. Layout is very pretty and challenging. Greens are in great shape and run true.

Great course and awesome service! Staff was the most friendly out of any of the Pinehurst courses. This course gave a different feel than some of the other Pinehurst courses we played. Tighter fairways, more hills, more out of bounds/hazards, but easier around the greens. Must play track when coming to Pinehurst!

Very disappointed with the Pinehurst experience. Went down for a week with my buddies and was not treated with what we expected from the promises. The part that got me the most was that we had scheduled to play no.7 in the morning and then go back to the main location and play our second round. We were shuttled over and back. I bought a new Bushnell shift range finder with slope for the trip. When we finished up at 7 we were hurrying to make our next tee time and I left the rangefinder on the cart as it is magnetic. As we started the next round I realized I left it on the cart at 7. Called and asked if they would hold it and I would get it after the round. It was never turned in is what I was told. 4 guys took our bags and the carts to get ready for the next people and didn't turn it in.

Not a good look for Pinehurst. Extremely frustrating.

At 143 the highest slope rating of the Pinehurst Country Club's 9 courses (that includes #2 at 138). Lots of elevation changes, par 3s are long, many par 4s are too. Greens are hilly, many above fairway level, all well-trapped. #7 (and #9) are Pinehurst Signature member courses. Host of the LPGA's qualifying school 2018, 2020

Pinehurst country Club is very overrated and extremely expensive. There are so many golf courses in the Pinehurst area that are reasonable. I wouldn't waste my money on anything at Pinehurst especially the golf
