I actually had a great experience today. For the first time they did my blood panels the first time. Celine did a great job, asked plenty of questions to understand where the best place to draw my blood. She was the most competent phlebotomist I’ve had in any VA or Active duty setting. Keep her around and we will be happy. Also Cape Coral messed my appt up and the lady that checked me in (far right desk) made the switch to the clinic and I was getting my blood drawn less than 5 minutes later. She was also very informative about some benefits and how to get the information. It hasn’t been pleasant in years past but whatever they changed was for the better. I think I kept getting the ones they let go or transfer every year until this year. Those 2 ladies were a breathe of fresh air. Promote ahead of peers. I’m glad things seemed to be shaping up.

I went to the hospital on Monday night for a laceration on my face. Tuesday morning I called this VA clinic to let them know that I needed to follow up appointment. The nurse never called me back. By Wednesday the glue that the Hospital applied on my cut is peeling and I am now bleeding again. I called this VA clinic again and the administrative assistant stated that all of the nurses are in a meeting right now (1:45 in the afternoon) and hopefully the nurse will call me back after the meeting. I asked her what am I supposed to do in the meantime with all of this blood? With a snarky attitude, she said I don’t know, I’m not a nurse. I asked her if I should start heading that way to the clinic? And her response was if you want to. What kind of care is this

They have perfected the art of when someone walks up needing help do not make eye contact and try to look at the computer at all cost! also calling is a joke if they don't call you odds are you are out of luck. going on 4 attempts to return a call back at their request with no answer any time.
They really give you the I Don't care you are just part of the job vibe!
The only reason its not getting a 1 star is because the gentleman at the front desk. at first I thought he was like the others but as I was sitting down waiting past my appointment time I saw him go above and beyond a few times with little things trying to help. I wish I could remember your name so i could mention it but sadly I do not.
Anyways the care here in comparison to the care in Texas is a joke. well below average. I'm sure there has to be a few other good workers here but I have yet to see it.

Worst experience ever!!! I called because I needed a health physical for law enforcement and they told me they could not help me until I put in a transfer first . I fill out the paperwork right there on the spot and then hand them back I’m told it could take a week to be completed. I then waited a whole week and called again today they transferred me 3 times only to tell me they haven’t even started the paperwork and by some miracle the guy that does the paperwork all of a. Sudden is on vacation for a week. Then to addd insult to injury they are trying to dodge the physical completely by telling me they don’t know if they can do it. This place is absolutely ridiculous and the worst VA clinic I have ever been to

They are the absolute worst VA clinic I've ever gone to. I scheduled a new patient appointment 3 months in advance, took time off to go to the appointment several weeks in advance. The DAY BEFORE they call, leave a message and tell me they are canceling my appointment because I'm a new patient. WTAF. I called back not even 10 minutes later and they had me on hold for over 30 minutes then the phone just hung up and this wasn't the first time, it also happened with the speciality care. When I finally
talked my doctor it was like talking to a wall. I'd talk to her about my concerns and she'd go silent for a second but then start to talk about something else. Very frustrating to say the least.

First time to this clinic and I wasn’t disappointed. I was just there to register, since I am a traveling vet, and get signed up for the COVID shots since I am over 75. Service was very good. Please keep someone at the work station at the door before we enter, otherwise new patients don’t know the procedure. Thank you Vet Outpatient Clinic for all you do!
I was told I would be contacted in 3 to 5 business days to be notified as to which Dr I was assigned. This never happened!!! Why haven’t I been contacted; it’s been 3 weeks!
Been over 4 wks now with no contact; I finally called and VA operator says traveling vets will never be assigned a Dr because they are traveling. I said I was told I would be assigned a a Dr. No, according to her. Can I at least get a COVID shot? Must be a resident until they have enough vaccine for everyone! So, I’ve pretty much struck out at this clinic! Operators seem pretty rude as well! NOT GOOD!!!

Worst Va clinic i’ve ever seen or been too!!!!! They never call, never answer, rude, never write letters to remind you or even tell you that you have no doctor because they left until i actually showed up at the end of the day since i was out of medication forever and had been trying to get ahold of them. They’re a mess! Psychiatrist(don’t bother just like everyone else says) go on the outside for that and honestly anything else they can out source outside for! Horrible Va and i’ve worked at one and was a part of the one in Milwaukee at one point and they were great compared to this mess. It shouldn’t even exist since it absolutely does not help vets like it should. Just be prepared to know your rights as a veteran and call crisis line(which helps now with any issue not just one thing specific) and patient advocate.
