Sandra Faller gave us an incredible tour! Her knowledge is very impressive from historical architecture to family history and everything in between. She let us take our time in every room to examine the artifacts and take pictures. She is a wealth of knowledge with a bright cheery personality. I highly recommend going to see the pottsgrove manor and taking a tour. Ask for this young lady, she knows her stuff!

If you like colonial Pennsylvania German history and architecture, you will love this place. Beautiful house, buildings and grounds. We took a tour of the 3 story house which has lots of early interior and exterior architectural features. Interior furnishings are beautiful and most are original to the house or family. Our tour guide was Sandra Faller who is a super excellent “ 5 Star” guide who is very knowledgeable in all aspects of the house history and furnishings. She explains things thoroughly and can answer all questions related. Outside there is a bake oven, the workers house and a small german garden. Do yourself a favor and visit this beautiful historical site for a few hours. The gift shop offers Plenty of related books, redware plates, leather goods and other souvenirs. Please purchase gift shop items or leave a donation to help support this beautiful historic site. Plenty of on site parking.

Wonderful tour of the manor. Tour guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. You can tell she has a passion for the history of the building and the Potts family.
Only 2 of us on the 1pm Tour on a Sunday. It's a free tour, donation boxes set if you want to contribute.
Little gift shop at end of the tour. Lots of replicas of historic games and maps.

Pottsgrove Manor was built in 1752 for John Potts, his wife Ruth and their 13 children. He was the most successful iron master in the colonies. The Georgian home is very large and stately. It has been well preserved and beautifully restored.
Amy, my tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the family, the town, and the home. The tour was very interesting and I learned much about the Potts family as well as their beautiful and stately home. The manor is well worth visiting and taking the tour.

The Twelfth Night Celebration held each December is wonderful. So authentic. You enter the front of the house and are treated as a visiting guest as your tour the candle lit house. The smells from the kitchen will make you hungry. The cook and helpers are preparing a spectacular feast for Mr Potts and his guest, who you meet all through the house in their party attire.

I went here for special event. There were numerous period demonstrations including Dr. Ben Franklin (actor portrayal), who was excellent in character and very knowledgeable. It's fun to visit here from time to time and see how they change things up for the season/event. The staff and volunteers are friendly, welcoming and eager to share their knowledge. Family friendly, clean restrooms available.
