It’s a stressful time having to move a loved one into long term care. My grandmother has been there several months. The staff at Universal has been phenomenal in helping her adjust to her new home. Her nurses (especially Michelle) and CNAs are amazing. Everyday I come to see her she is smiling, talking, up and dressed, and clean. She was there years ago under different management and I must say, it looks like new management has made a positive impact! I’m so thankful for the care they provide. I was shocked when I went for a visit and the DON, scheduler, staff development nurse, central supply, literally almost everyone knew my grandmother and her needs! Everyone is so helpful, it doesn’t matter if she is on their hall or not, everyone has been so wonderful to her.

My mom has lived at Universal for several years now. We feel like we are part of a family. Everyone is so kind and loving to me and especially to my mom. She lights up when the staff greets her and talks to her. The decision to not keep mom at home was very difficult but we thank God for directing us to Universal. I can’t thank them enough for the care and kindness they have shown us.
