Kathy was wonderful and very helpful in the library with relatives from Richmond on my wifes side of the family and discovered both my great grandparents were born and raised in Richmond! We stayed from open till close.
She is very knowledgeable and added our realitives to the history pages. Loved the tour!

I love this place full of great things to see. Cathy is the greatest. They also do ghost hunts there as well. Ray county Genealogy can be done there as well.

We go every Halloween, they really do it up nice, awesome people, super friendly. Also a must go during normal season if you appreciate history.

This place is amazing! Located in the old Ray County poor house, and all artifacts have been donated by locals. There are 52 rooms, each with its own theme. Easy to spend hours here.
The basement has been used as a hail and for mental patients. Rumor has it, It is haunted.

Our hosts, Terry and Mark were very knowledgeable, attentive and helpful!
The museum was is very nice and well taken care of.
My group was there for a paranormal investigation and we were not disappointed with the level of activity we encountered!

Linda makes each visit unique and personalized. The history stored inside this beautiful building is unimaginable. You step back in time as you experience each room filed with artifacts, heirloom pieces and rare antiques. Plan on return trips to fully appreciate all they have to offer.
