I have been coming here for the past few years and I am always pleased with Dr. Caitlin Higgins attentiveness at each visit. She actually listens and does her best to accommodate any concerns. She always provides insightful responses to any health/wellness related questions and offers a very helpful professional opinion. Its so refreshing to tell that she actually cares.

Front desk staff was rude and unprofessional, I needed some paperwork that was at home and I asked to confirm if I needed to go home to get the paperwork before being able to be seen and the front desk staff said "I can't tell you what you do need or don't need to do".....I left and went home to get the paperwork that was needed and when I returned I seen a sign over the check in kiosk that no one could check in between 2pm to 2:30pm so I asked if I could be seen and was told "no" so I stated you mean to tell me y'all sent me home to go get the paperwork y'all needed but didn't let me know that between 2pm and 2:30pm that I wouldnt be able to check in? The staff then told me "it was posted on the door that no one can check in between those times daily", to me it's common sense that if I'm leaving to go home and return with requested paperwork that out of courtosy they should of let me know that between those times I wouldn't be able to check in (this was with a crying child that had an ear infection), they also said "have a nice dayyy" like in a sarcastic type of way. Front desk staff was rude, unprofessional and no customer service skills! I normally don't post but I had been here one time before and witnessed the same front desk staff being rude to a patient checking in and then talked crap about that patient to the other front desk staff and it was the front desk staff that was rude and in the wrong! I won't ever go back there and ended up going to Duke Urgent Care and received the best customer service, the best help, was in and out and would recommend Duke Urgent Care over UNC Rex Urgent Care any day!!! Do better UNC Rex Urgent Care! Thank you for saving the day Duke Urgent Care!!❤️

My 86 year- old mother was seen there 12/29/22 in the evening . The front desk person she checked in with was very rude and unprofessional. She was told to check in on the iPad and when she told the clerk she didn’t know how to do it , was told “ I’m sure you can do it. “ Thankfully another person in the lobby overheard this and assisted her. She was very sick and said the doctor was great. They sent her straight to the ED.

Scheduled a walk-in at 12:29. Got there 15 minutes early. First problem was, I Wasn’t seen until about a hour later. Second the lady at the front desk doesn’t even speak English. A simple check in or whatever that was, took way too long with her having to repeat herself a thousand times because I couldn’t understand her broken attempt at English. Why have someone who can’t even speak English work the front desk? Also The lady who pulled my blood was TERRIBLE! I’ve donated blood and plasma several times and it’s never hurt this bad! The way she ripped the needle out of my arm made my arm throb in pain for the rest of day. This place is a ridiculous joke. I won’t be going back and I will never refer anyone to your Knightdale facilities

AVOID!!!!!! While the provider was very nice, their outrageous fees and billing practices are not worth it. No wonder their facilities are nice, you're getting over-charged at every turn.

Apparently, there is a $489 fee for simply becoming a new patient. This is billed as "Office/outpatient Visit, New" or "Office Consultation". Even though I was also there to get part of my annual done, scripts filled, etc.

According to the billing department their entire network of providers is too incompetent to actually set you up as a new patient and perform services (even though this is what happens in reality). And because they refuse to code any of this as "preventative care", which virtually every insurance covers at 100%, guess who gets to pay the bill? That's right, you do!

So, after my insurance "adjustment" for in network, I get a bill for $331.36. That's right folks, for the pleasure of attempting to find a new doctor, I get to pay $331. Even better, because apparently my wife and I are complete idiots, we both went there and we both got billed. Not like they tell you they are going to bend you over the fence before you show up.

So, if you are like us and just moved to the area and happen to be looking for a new provider, if you walk into any UNC healthcare facility, plan on getting billing approximately $330 per person (or more), that your insurance will not cover. And because the physician also gave us referrals to a couple other follow-up appointments we have bills totaling over $1400. All to get a handful of prescriptions filled out.

Thanks for that UNC! You can bet you will never see another member of my family at any of your facilities ever again. So much for customer service and watching out for your patients.

If you are in Wendell, NC, there is a physician in town that actually wants you as a patient and doesn't screw you over on a "new patient" fee. And amazingly, they actually do all their services at or under your allowable insurance rates. So you don't get any bills at all.

I say that because every single service I received or was referred to through "Rex" I got a bill. Simply put, every single service they offer will be over your insurance allowable rate and they will expect you to pay for it . . . good insurance means nothing anymore.

Just received some great service today ! Last time I came here in September it was a 3.5 but today was 360! I had went to the Raleigh location three days ago but my symptoms were still bad. So we went back to the Knightdale location and everyone in there including the doctor was 5 star !!!
