Initially the appointment went great. I called earlier today to find out about a mix up with my son's prescription. I would be on hold and then the phone would just hang up. 4 phone calls later I finally get someone. When I explain that there might be something wrong with the system the lady becomes very rude and unprofessional. She starts having a very nasty attitude with me simply because I asked her to look up my sons prescription, which is her job! Customer service or atleast the lady I talked to are incompetent. I'm moving my family to another care provider in Jacksonville. This is ridiculous! I just want it known for the record, the actual service as in the doctors was great, im moving our care simply based off of how horrible this lady was.

They take a long time to answer the phone. Wait at least an hour before you are seen. Once seen, it's good to go for basic run of the mill things such as antibiotics, well checks, etc. Its super awesome not to have to drive to Jacksonville. However, instead of setting an appointment for 9am, when you don't get seen until 10am, they should set you up for 0945 am or 10am, instead of waiting so long. People have jobs, child care issues, elderly at home, etc... It's really inconvenient and inconsiderate to make people wait so long. If they would fix the phone answering and wait times, they would be 5 star. But, I don't think that they care. I am editing this because I have already been sick with sinus chest symptoms for almost 2 weeks now. I know that I need an antibiotic. My spouse had the same symptoms as me, and after 2 days of his antibiotic he felt much better. I would not have wasted my $30 co-pay to get a prescription for otc medications I have already been taking and already have in my house. This is the second and last time that I come for myself to this place. I have 19 years of hospital experience; That counts for something. I am no dummy. She purposely said I don't have her degree. So, She writes prescription for medicines I have already been taking and otc. Says I have virus. STOP AND ASK YOURSELF, REALLY? She smiles and has a know it all attitude. I guess because I use medical terminology she took that as a threat and used her power to not give me what I need. I've had enough days off of work with this mess. I will be going to Jacksonville. I do not recommend this place. If you go, I hope you have a better experience.

I love The doctors and nurses but, for the Love of God, y’all need to do SOMETHING about your phone situation. I’m sick of sitting on hold for 30+ minutes every single time I call. There is no reason for that. If I wanted to call and wait on hold like that I would call the IRS. I want so badly to give it more stars but just the fact that this is a CONSTANT issue (and has been pretty much since you opened) that you guys don’t seem concerned enough to fix, I won’t. Do better.

I've been using JCMC since my first daughter was born in 2012. I didn't care for the Jacksonville branch at all. I never saw the same doctor, wait time was ridiculous, some doctors talked to me like I was stupid, even had one keep her back turned to me the entire time. When they opened the Richlands branch I was excited because it was close to my home an had only 2 doctors at the time. I loved Mrs. Charlotte. She is amazing, very gentle with the kids, she listens to me when I have questions or opinions s on what might be going on, and she just really seems to genuinely care about her patients. The staff is normally on point, very polite and helpful with questions and such. Today, I lost a lot of respect for them. I had to schedule an appointment ASAP for my kids who started hack coughing and running fevers so I called yesterday and made the appointment. I explained we have only one vehicle so it has to be as late as possible so my husband won't miss work. He misses work he doesn't get paid. So today my husband is running a little behind on his way home to get us so I call the office to let them know we are running a little late. The lady on the phone asks if I can make it there by 415 or 430 at the latest and I said yes 430 at the absolute latest and she's says that's fine and she'll let the provider know. We get to the clinic at 4:28 and she says we have to reschedule because the doctor won't see them since we'really late....why tell me on the phone that it's fine if it's not. I don't appreciate being given the run around when my children are sick and need to be seen. Of course she offers to make an appointmentioned for Monday but it doesn't change the fact that we would probably have to do the same thing since we only have one car. Thank you, for the let down. Hopefully it's just a bad head cold for the both of them and nothing serious.

Mrs. Charlotte is the best!! We have been going to her since she started at Jacksonville childrens clinic and followed her to Richlands children's& family care because we found a fantastic doctor who cares about my children, listens to my concerns, explains what is everything to us, She has always done whatever was needed to find any problem that was going on at the time. Most the staff is nice, For the most part they get you see in fairly reasonable time. Unless they are super busy or there are issues with another person.

The nurses and doctors do a great job, but the office staff has done a horrible job at managing calls lately. I got hung up on twice while waiting in the que. If you can't come up with a better system of managing calls and checking in appointments, it's time to find new office staff.

All to often people complain when things are not perfect but rarely compliment when things are good or over achieve expectations. Therefore I am taking a moment to appreciate this office in Richlands NC. I to own a business and understand your business is only as good as the people working it. Having said that I must say this; I am very pleased with Tina Reagan and the staff at Richlands Family Care. I went in with several complaints and after sending me for some labs and tests within 7 days she had me starting to feel better. I was not sleeping but 2-3 hours a night, even under medication. I was suffering. Losing weight and more. I figured it would take months to figure this stuff out. Within two weeks she had several answers for me. She called checked on me many times at work. This is the first I’ve worked with a physician that it seems like she actually has concern for my well being and the well being of my family.
A few years ago my wife was treated at drs office on western; I’ll not mention his name as I don’t want to be sued for slander.. He Actually wears a watch and timer goes off at 11 minutes. He’s all done with you at that point. He actually said to me for him to make the money he needs to make he can only spend that much time with a patient. I was dumbfounded.
Mrs. Regan takes the necessary amount of time. No Bull, no rush, and no short change.
I also have raised 2 kids and have 2 more at home. She and another pediatrician there have seen my children. They do extremely well with kids.
I am being referred to another Dr. (orthopedic surgeon) and I pray he is as good at interpersonal skills as she is.

I understand the precautions of covid but I made an appointment for my children, took them out of school, arrived at the appointment and seen a sign to call to sign in from your car. I sat on hold for 24 minutes when no one told me when I made my appointment to arrive early to do so. So when I finally got through, they said I was too late and had to reschedule. So, heads-up, arrive 25-30 minutes early to wait on hold to check in for appointment in your car.
