Beautiful building! I'm only giving it 4-stars bec I wasn't able to go in 🙁 It obviously closes early (before 5pm). I wouldof loved to have taken a tour. It seems there is a lot of significant historical value here too!!! I love these OLD homes 🙂

Came from Virginia to visit family in Kentucky and wound up in Richmond KY. We were greeted right away and didn't feel like we were pounced on. There were three people working this day, and all were instrumental in good suggestions about what should be seen next. It wasn't all about the Bourbon trail and distilleries. They recommended other options like hiking trails, a cool railroad bike ride, and other unique places to go and see. They were very knowledgeable about the history of Richmond KY and the connections back to my own home state of Virginia. It was actually refreshing to encounter such knowledgable individuals about local history. All in all, I am very pleased to have talked with David, Laurie, and Staci.

Staff was friendly and the building was beautiful and historic. It was a great place to stretch our legs for a bit after driving down from Michigan. The only issue was parking was difficult to find. I'm not sure we parked in a place we were supposed to.

Learned some Richmond and Kentucky history, particularly about the Cumberland Gap path to Ft Boonesborough. Very friendly and knowledgeable group and nice inexpensive Richmond t-shirt.

Best place to stop first if visiting. Excellent, knowledgeable and friendly staff with lots of brochures and maps. Very well done. They are working hard to preserve the history of our great Country and the important people and events of the Battle of Richmond.
