I’ve been coming to Dr. Peterson's old practice since I was a child. Before he became my dentist, I saw the previous dentist who owned the practice. I am now in my 30's and was overdue for an appointment. I showed up at the same location that the office was at every other time I had gone in to a cleaning - and I was surprised to find that the office had been taken over by another dentist and that Dr. Peterson had moved. I was not notified of the move when I made the appointment or when I was sent a reminder. I also do not live in Lake Oswego, so I am not “up to date” on the happenings of the city. How was I supposed to know that they had moved from the office that I have been coming to for more than 20 years?

Now, this wouldn’t have been much of an issue, but I had an issue with the way the situation was handled. When I called to let them know I had arrived at the wrong location, they didn’t apologize for not notifying me of the move, especially since they could have taken 30 seconds to check their records and realize that I hadn't come in since they moved locations. They just told me where their new address was and left it at that. No apology when I arrived either; basically, no accountability on their end at all.

At that point, I had already resolved that I will no longer be a patient of Dr. Peterson’s. It was the cherry on top when I received a bill for over $600 from them and found out that my insurance didn’t cover my treatment. It was almost like they should have told me that when I arrived and they reviewed my insurance cards on arrival.

Anyways, I never write negative reviews, so it’s really a shame I felt so passionate as to leave one for this practice. Customer service goes a long way, and it’s very evident that this practice cares more about money than it does providing a positive customer service experience to their clients.

I was referred to Dr. Peterson for a second opinion on a tooth.

I'm glad that I went - He was incredibly educational and took the time to explain the entire procedure clearly. Thanks to his expertise, he was able to save my tooth, which I wasn't sure would be possible. I'm very relieved!

Dr. Peterson was not only thorough but also very quick and efficient, which I truly appreciate. The entire experience, from the moment I walked in, put me at ease. Everyone in the office was kind and made me feel comfortable throughout the visit.

Dr. Peterson is a wonderful dentist, and I'm happy I found him.

Dr Peterson is a fantastic dentist. He has been our family dentist for years. Dr Peterson and Everyone who works there is kind and caring. NOTE: They recently moved the practice to Lake Grove to a beautiful state of the art space off boones ferry just up the street from Zupan’s.
(They are NO LONGER in the place on south shore.)

I had my first appointment today for a cleaning, x-rays, and exam. Staff was friendly, professional, and all around excellent. Dr. Peterson was also very friendly and a pleasure to interact with. I would highly recommend!

This is more than just a dentist office, when you go to Dr Peterson's you feel like family. Everyone who works here is extremely nice and they do everything they can to ensure your experience is as pleasant as possible. There are many dentist offices closer to me but I choose to go to Dr Peterson's because of the trust that has been built over the course of many good experiences.

Dr. Robert is by far the best Dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Peterson along with his entire staff are so friendly and make you feel super comfortable at the office; a huge plus when you're talking dental. I can really trust in their dental work, and know I'm getting the best care possible for the health of my teeth. You guys are the best!
