I am a member of the Scott County Arts Council and we have our meetings here. These are Leather Mosaics, I do not use paint, only different colors of leather.

Originally being from the area it's an absolute pleasure to go back to one of my favorite places at the scottsburg sale barn. Always guaranteed to find interesting items, fresh produce, and even small livestock. There's a treasure for someone always. Scott county has really drummed up the atmosphere on a Saturday morning by adding the beautiful Farmers market just a block down the street from the sale barn. When you finish at the sale barn you can simply meander up to the historical society area get something to eat or drink from the outdoor vendors and then peruse around the farmers market with baked goods and other fresh produces.

The people/ vendors are always ssoo friendly. Getting fresh vegetables & home baked goods is worth it!! Plus I came home with sausage gravy & biscuits for breakfast!!

MY SINCERE APOLOGIES…… MY PREVIOUS POST STATED EXPENSIVE VENUE…. IT IS AN EXTREMELY INEXPENSIVE VENUE…. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION TO ANY AND EVERYONE. FYI…. THE REVENUE ALLOWS VITAL LOCAL HISTORICAL PLACES LIKE THIS ONE & ALL THE FABULOUS DEDICATED VOLUNTEERS TO STAY OPEN & EDUCATE YOUNG & OLD. We booked this place for our wedding 6 yrs ago. It is a beautiful, charming, unique, and inexpensive place for any small, intimate, quaint, historical, educational , one of a kind event. Anything from a wedding, birthday, graduation, anniversary, etc. This gem is one of Southren Indiana’s best kept secrets.

I had a heavy feeling immediately. I asked if it was haunted. One lady said, "Of course not." While the other lady, sitting off to the side of us, slightly, but grimly nodded her head. I hightailed it out of that place.
