When I asked Dr. Gnagi what we would do if my daughter’s ear tubes came out (again), she said “you’re just unlucky; they won’t come out again”

That comment may have been intended as reassuring but it came across as dismissive and it was ultimately short sighted because the ear tubes DID come out for a second time.

My daughter is now facing ear tube placement for the third time in a year and one of our biggest concerns is the anesthesia but Dr Gnagi offered no alternatives. In fact she suggested an additional procedure to shave the inners of my daughter’s nose and didn’t even talk to us about it, just had a scheduler asking if we wanted the procedure.

We did some research and found ear tubes can be placed in-office with a new system called Tula/Hummingbird.

I didn’t feel my concerns were heard and ultimately that’s what’s driving the rating.
