I had a terrible experience with the billing department here. I was in for a 10 minute flu test and paid a $50 copay in the office. A month and a half later I then received a bill for $380.99 after insurance. The provider's name listed at the top was not the provider I saw and the charges are broken down as follows - $190.00 for Lab Services (I had one flu test), $252.00 for Outpatient Visit Low Level, and $246.00 for Physicians Services (a physician did not even see me, I was seen solely by a nurse who performed the flu test and then came back 10 minutes later to tell me it was positive). My insurance company called and was told it was charged as an ER visit because this Urgent Care is owned by a hospital. I was never made aware of this during my visit. When I called to follow up, the person in billing told me that my insurance company was lying (?) and that I had two options - pay in full or be put on a payment plan and then abruptly hung up. Do not go here! Completely unacceptable.

I have been here multiple times for varying family members and they are always quick to get us seen, very professional, with easy administrative processes. The nurses and physicians are friendly with good bedside manner, being thorough but still quick.

I had a fabulous experience here today. From the moment Olga took my information I could see that this is an extremely well-run urgent care location. Katelyn was kind and understanding as well as thorough and I quickly received a diagnosis from Brian. I was diagnosed and my medication orders at the pharmacy in less than one hour. My husband recently went to Sarasota Hospital and we waited 13 hours in the ER. If there is a next time, we will come here first. Thank you for the professional experience today.

Fantastic experience in the ER. Fast, found an infection that my husband have been having for a while and nobody could find, excellent staff, every single one of them, thank you SO much this, it has given us back what we were looking from our head family doctor for the past 4 years! Dr. Kukula and her staff were AMAZING! The wait time was less than 15 min and from the receptionist to the CMA to the doctor, everyone was very professional, efficient, and compassionate. They definitely put "human kindness" back into healthcare as it always should be. Added bonus was seeing Dr. Kukula, whose taken excellent care of 3 generations of our family!!
