Where to begin.

It really depends on what your expectations are. From its high rating on Google, I was expecting something much better than what I actually got. If you are expecting a stranger-than-average museum experience that you'll definitely tell your friends about in a "let me tell you about this weird place" way, you'll love it.

Unless you know what you're looking for, it is extremely difficult to find. I only found it because I looked at Google Street View after getting directions to the spot and seemingly finding nothing. Sure enough, there's a teeny sign in the grungy window of a run-down abandoned-looking jewelry store. I had to talk myself into going inside.

When you walk inside, the store looks like it hasn't been touched in decades. There are boxes everywhere and shelves of faded/outdated greeting cards. It looked more like a shrine than a store with all sorts of pictures of the pope and various religious icons all about.

An elderly woman waited at the back of the store along with two other people who would be entering the "museum" as well. The woman was quite knowledgeable, though she did follow us closely like we might steal something. I really wish photos had been allowed because there was some of the weirdest stuff in there, like creepy Jack and Rose dolls and mannequins around corners. Some of the artifacts were interesting, but a lot of things were only tangentially related.

Hoo boy, and it was stinky. Stinky like mildewy, stinky like you maybe let something rot too long inside your garbage can. Nothing in that whole store had (obviously) been cleaned for some time.

I was on a tight-ish schedule, so I told the woman I had to go (but I had not paid the entry fee yet, so I could not just leave), but she kept stopping me with "oh, but you haven't seen THIS." Held hostage, I tell you.

I finally did get out, grateful to breathe fresh air again. Like I said, you just have to manage your expectations, and this could be an absolute delight.

A small collection of titanic-related artifacts about both the real ship and the movies. This is located within a jewelry store and only costs $7 to see. No photos allowed. The best part for us was that we were the only people there, so we pretty much got a guided tour with bonus info and answers to all of our questions.

My 7 year old son is obsessed with the Titanic and when he found out they are 2 minutes away from his grandma's house he just had to go. The price for 4 of us was 29 dollars but for such a small place I didn't think it was worth the money. But the important thing is my son loved it and the lady was very knowledgeable.

IT IS AT THE JEWERLY STORE
Ok where do I start..
I drove around SO MANY TIMES and COULD NOT FIND IT and thought I was going crazy. Until I saw another review stating it was in the jewelry store so I knew. I suggested better signage they said they don't need it.
The card and jewelry store in the front has stuff from idk WHAT decade the 70s, 60s? Not sure
You pay $7 to enter the museum which has all sorts of stuff. The previous owner who passed wrote to tons of survivors and had all sorts of things. She said no photos but lucky for me she went to help someone else.
I wanted to buy a book about Leo but she still wanted the 90s price. I was only willing to pay the current market price. But I bought other stuff including post cards from Chippawa Falls, WI IYKYK
3 STARS only cause it's HARD to find and I almost left and the store front is messy. And the used book store needs to have better prices but like Jack Dawson was the king of the world this is a king of roadside attractions a MUST STOP !

This Museum was really cool they had movie props and actual titanic and sister ship item the owner was very sweet and kind only 7 dollars to enter to! Nice little gift shop.

Very good information on the Titanic and its sister ships. The museum was awesome!! That tiny place held insane amounts of information, but it would all be bullshit without the lady that's there. She was a wealth of information.

I have visited the Titanic historical society twice now it is a great place to learn about the Titanic and White Star Lines history & legacy. The museum is fairly small but includes a unique & sizeable collection of relics from or related to the Titanic & its sister ships, many of the items were from actual passengers of the ships. Lastly there is a great little gift shop that has many souvenirs to offer at good prices. I highly recommend visiting to anyone who has an interest in history related to the Titanic.
