Having our wedding at the St. Clair Inn was everything we ever hoped for in our wedding day! The venue itself is beautifully maintained, elegant and comfortable for guests. All of the staff were friendly and professional and demonstrated a genuine desire to make our day fun and special. Samantha was calm, responsive and easy to communicate with. Our guests loved the views, the rooms, the ballroom, the ceremony location- everything! We also loved having the cottages reserved for family and friends to be together all weekend long. We wouldn't change one single thing about our experience with the St. Clair Inn!

We just got married at the inn and what an amazing experience! The staff is incredible and they went above and beyond with their service. From the front desk to our bartender at our wedding, EVERYONE was phenomenal. The rooms are completely updated with very comfortable beds. The food is to die for! Absolutely delicious!! If I could do it over again, I would still have our wedding here!

I always felt heard, supported, and completely confident that our day would be flawless.

🌿 And it was. The outdoor ceremony on the Riverside Lawn felt straight out of a fairytale, with immaculate landscaping and picture-perfect rehearsal execution. Guests enjoyed a classy cocktail hour on the Riverside View Terrace, soaking in panoramic river views, followed by an exquisite reception in the Riverside Ballroom. Every staff member—from the attentive servers to the lively, personable bartenders—embodied warmth and professionalism, contributing to an atmosphere of joy and refinement.

Great place for a unique get-away! Old Tudor style inn with character, directly overlooking the st Clair river, which has shipping traffic to watch on the back porches and decks. Relax under the stars and watch the ships go by! Or swim or hot tub and watch them. ||Why stay at a freeway exit hotel when you can get old style ambiance overlooking the water (and Canada) and enjoy the majestic dignity of Great Lakes shipping going by.||Restaurant is good too and has all windows to enjoy the lake and ship views. ||Loved it! And competitively priced. Way worth the unique memory, and the half hour drive out of Detroit, to slow down and go back in time!

The view, the ambiance and the food were top shelf. We split The Dive Burger and it was a good thing we did. It’s a full pound of various beef cuts and it was delicious!!||The hotel is very nice and elegant. We would have stayed the night at the hotel, which was reasonably priced, but the riverside rooms were completely booked ||We will definitely revisit, even if it’s just for the food and views.

We could not have asked for a better experience at the St Clair Inn for our wedding. The wedding team was so responsive and great at communicating, the staff was so kind and welcoming, the facilities were beautiful. Would highly recommend!

My now husband and I just held our wedding here and we absolutely loved it! All staff we interacted with (especially Rebecka) were incredibly kind, accommodating, and professional. The location itself is absolutely beautiful and did a large portion of the decorating for us. The food service by Gabi was also exceptional, some of the best food and cake I’ve had. Very pleased with the location, staff, food, and room

Beautiful place for a wedding! A couple things, there was no thermostat in my room, it was warm and couldn't make it any cooler. Also, the only thing they had for breakfast Saturday and Sunday was coffee, some fruit and granola bars. Really? As much as you pay for the rooms, they could have something different for breakfast on the weekend. 🙄
