Que desilusionada quedé de este hospital 🏥 pensé que la atención sería mejor, yo estuve ahí el día lunes por que tenía una cirugía, estoy pasando un cancer de tiroides, ahí el personal no es empatico con uno y menos amables, todo el personal es tan seco y como malhumorado, solo uno que otro te trata bien, las enfermeras hasta como que te ven mal y ni te ayudan, yo les dije que me sentía mareada después de mi cirugía y ni me ayudaron a levantarme de la cama y ni me ayudaron a sostenerme para ir al baño, durante la noche yo fui sola al baño 2 veces por que ellas ni se tomaban el tiempo en ir a verme si necesitaba algo, y para colmo el control que te dan para llamar a la enfermera no servía 😓 me dieron el alta y ni me explicaron nada de cuidadados, como si ellos no supieran, mejor tuve que preguntarles yo lo poco que se me vino a la mente en ese momento, que terrible 😣

Cómo puede durar un paciente que tiene una emergencia que acude al hospital porque necesita atención inmediata como puede durar más de 6 horasssss 6 horas y media y aún no han atendido a mi esposo al cual tiene un dolor crónico en el estómago no se justifica tanta ineficiencia ni vengan aquí pierden el tiempo la paciencia es ridículo tanta espera

This hospital is terrible l was there last Night because l am prenancy and l hade alot pain but they weren't worry about that .take 2 hours to the doctor see me ,l don't really want to have my bb on this place l am so nervious there was only one nurse and one doctor that is increíble,este hospital es fatal nunca he escuchado nada bueno de el pero tengo diabetis gestional y es la razón q voy ahí pero esta feo para poder llegar entrar todas las puertas cerradas si estas perdido nadie te ayuda y yo estoy de 38 semanas de embarazo y fui ayer porq salió mucha agua y tenía miedo q algo estuviera mal pero tuve que esperar 1 hora ala enfermera y 2 horas al doctor s eso es increíble y dijeron que no tengo nada y si sale medio litro de agua q regresé y un sangrado tan fuerte como menstruación oh hemorragia yyo estaba es enserio jajaja es increíble que se porten así ante una situación que pueda ser un parto desde la recepcionista hasta los doctores son pesimos y te tratan super distantes y pedantes y lo bueno q es el mejor hospital de columbus, tengo una niña y nació. En mount Carmel ahí si q fue una maravilla de lugar aprendan

You guys are Incompetent, always blaming the next person in line... when it comes to being thorough on instructions. I've been there multiple times for same procedure and Every time something happens and it gets canceled and it doesn't get done. Then the reschedule is months away..... Been waiting for over a year, but each visit you guys charge my My insurance but nothing was done.... you guys even flat out Said sorry We forgot to tell you what to do before the procedure..then reschedulefor 5 months away..... You guys get paid every visit.But nothing gets done on my behalf.You guys don't have patience.You have customers ...worst hospital ever.... My procedure was supposed to be done again tomorrow and I just got a phone call saying it's canceled.Because you guys fail to send out the prep worksheet.
Which I just got today.... But it.
Says I was supposed to start 5 days ago.
You guys are a joke.I wouldn't even take my stuffed animal there to get sewed up.

I had my first baby at OSU in 2022. At the time, I didn’t realize how negative the experience truly was until I delivered my second child at another hospital, where the difference was night and day.

First, I want to acknowledge that my nurses at OSU were wonderful. However, my experience with the midwives—especially Beth on the day of labor—was very unkind. Things escalated to the point where I requested that Beth no longer return to my room.

After that, I was assigned Dr. Rosen. She seemed irritated with my labor progress and even told me, word for word: “If you decide to push this baby out, I won’t be helping you. It’s all on you.” When I eventually chose to have a C-section, I overheard her on the phone sounding excited, saying, “No way, did she really? You’re kidding?!” It felt so unprofessional and discouraging.

During the surgery, she was extremely rough. I only realized this in hindsight after having a second C-section at a different hospital, which was handled with far more care. After leaving OSU, I developed a fever and had to be readmitted three days later with swelling and flu-like symptoms. I spent eight hours in the ER, barely able to lift my arms from the pain.

Over the next two days, my condition worsened while my bloodwork declined. Finally, at my mother’s insistence (she is not a doctor), the team tried a different antibiotic. That’s when things began improving—my fever broke, but my incision began draining a severe infection that required reopening and treatment.

Between the lack of empathy, unprofessional behavior, and the surgical infection, I would strongly warn others: Do not have your baby at OSU.

I am absolutely disgusted with every doctor I've seen at OSU. They're nothing but pill-pushers. I've been struggling with illness for months and NOT ONE doctor has listened to me, attempted to delve further into the issues, offer any educated suggestions, AND FORGET ABOUT ANY FOLLOW UP FOR ANYTHING. I appreciate I'm responsible for my own care, but you're supposed to be professionals, aren't you? I didn't go to med school, but I'm no idiot. Meet me halfway. I could do a better job just by rummaging through a medicine cabinet. The last straw was when I recently met with my GP and had to pull teeth just to get a blood draw for SOME diagnosis. How can you just throw meds at patients without at least trying to figure out first what you're treating Unacceptable. She didn't pick up a stethoscope, take initiative, or act remotely like she cared; borderline hostile. She just prescribed drugs that I don't need and I'm not going to take, then shoved me out the door. (This on the heels of an allergic reaction that I suffered from drugs prescribed and taken from a different, worthless OSUMC doctor.) Honestly, I believe her behavior was in retaliation for a previous poor survey I'd given and that which she most certainly earned. This is nothing short of malpractice that I'll be reporting after I start hunting again for a decent doctor - I don't think one exists in the state of Ohio. Sorry I can't line your pockets with tons of money, OSUMC, by not having a great big disease like cancer or something. That doesn't mean that my poor quality of life right now is any less important. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.
