What a great place , staff cares and the facility has a lot to offer. We were able to book a ride / lesson and the kids had a blast. They have an outdoor grill and an indoor rec center that the kids really enjoyed. It was a nice perfect stop since we were heading to UTAH truly a gem. The cabin was adorable too. We are coming back to stay longer for the summer! It's near a fishing river.

Excellent camp to stay at. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We got there late, and Pete came out and helped me set up camp. My wife is severely disabled from metastatic cancer and a spinal cord stroke, and the staff went out of their way to make her experience a pleasant one. I would defiantly recommend this camp.

Beautiful area! Very nice camping. We pulled a fifth wheel and our spot was so nice. We went for a horseback ride, which was so much fun! Definitely recommend if you want to camp in a gorgeous, peaceful environment

The "spacious cabin" was a tiny room barely big enough to fit our stuff. A space heater for heat and an outhouse. No keys to lock our room. All the hunters were trying to find out who their guides were at 9pm the night before the hunt. Pete told my husband he will be hunting in 581. We later learned 581 is an over the counter unit. His draw was for 59 but he never got to hunt that unit. Told we would pay $750 for a pack out services if we got an elk. I had a contract clearly stating pack out services were included. |Monday, the spot he and his guides had hunted the last two days was taken by another guide after he heard about their elk sighting the day before. none of the guides were familiar with the area. | |

Our family had another wonderful visit to the ranch (This is our third)! The staff is very friendly especially Kelly, Kathy and Ken! Kaitlyn was amazing with the kids under 10 for buckaroo rides (arena horseback riding lesson). Rustic and peaceful environment away from the city. The kids loved petting and visiting the horses and cows, making a western movie, the campfire and s’mores at night both near the office and at the chuckwagon sight, the playground, and collecting eggs from the chicken coup. The bunkhouse (recreation room) has lots of fun family games. There is a dinosaur museum and wolf rescue center nearby which made for fun afternoon outings. Wonderful place to relax and have privacy or meet other families and friendly staff. Cool mornings and evenings and hot days during the summer months. Pikes peak national forest and the ponderosa pines are beautiful as you drive to the ranch or when you take a trail ride. Lots of opportunities for interaction and watching horses, chickens, and a huge variety of bird species in the area. We also have stayed at the ranch during Fallfest and had a wonderful time with the family activities provided.

This is the place for a relaxing, western style of a vacation. The staff is always friendly and eager to assist to make your vacation memorable. The horseback ride is a must. Our guides Autumn and Andrew could not have been any better. The horses are well trained and this ride is probably the best we have ever taken. We don't want to leave.

We didn't stay at the ranch, but spent a day riding horses and having dinner. It was incredible. All of the staff was friendly and really seemed to enjoy the day as much as we did. Jake was especially great with our kids on the trail ride. The dinner itself was okay, but the music and dancing was such a treat. It's hard to choose a favorite moment from this experience - I'd love to do it all again.

This place was amazing. Myself and my boyfriend the half day ride and the staff, the horses, the views were wonderful. Our guide, Jake, was laid back and professional and gave us a wonderful experience. The horses appeared to be well-cared for and the equipment well-maintained. I'd recommend to beginner to advanced riders. It's about an hour from Colorado Springs and the drive is very scenic!
