Staff was very attentive! Rooms were clean Food was nice & u could pick your own menu! Many changes have been made & it was much more pleasant! Staff was professional and usually on time with medication. The double rooms are tight. Was impressed that sheets were changed every day! A real change!

Was in the 4th floor observation area for chest pains and cardiac issues. Everyone was terrific. Dan and Amanda were my nurses and they were outstanding. Ms Greene was kind and interested. I had to wait 24 hrs to see a cardiologist, but every UFHealth staff person I met was really wonderful from Emergency check in to the staff on the 4th floor. I don’t go to the hospital very often but my experience was exceptional. Thank you!!

I was impressed with the care given me by the doctors, nurses, nutrition staff, pharmacy, and house keepers. I received a thorough heart evaluation and health check up from the doctors, I appreciated excellent, responsive, compassionate nurses and aides, a specialized food plan including tasty meals, prescribed medications on time, and my room was cleaned and sanitized upon arrival and each day I was there!
What else could I ask for? An improved discharge process, specifically timely, online communication between doctors and nursing staff. The doctors need to order a stop of mediations and sign off for discharge when they tell the patient it’s time to go. Hours were lost due to communication shortfalls by the doctors to the nurses. Improving this process would please the discharging patient, and facilitate a quicker room turnover resulting in less patients laying in hallways awaiting a room.
During my stay I had several nurses. They were all wonderful and deserve recognition! One nurse in particular stood out. Amy Connelly RN, worked the 7p-7a shift on the fourth floor. Regardless of the time of night, Amy was always quick to respond, pleasant, compassionate, thorough, answered questions or found out the answers, and was eager to please and go the extra mile. She’s top notch, a “go getter,” and an all around joy to have as your nurse!
I arrived at UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital via the emergency room and would highly recommend this hospital for emergency care or a preplanned stay.

Catrina the Nurse made my last two days very happy I got out just yesterday. Super happy to be with my kids now. I would like to thank the nurses, Dr. Kirby and his surgery team, tech and maintenance for keeping a great vibe. The room was always very clean. Nice to see how they do their job with their teams. I just want to say Thank YOU!

The level of care I was given during my hospital stay was outstanding. WOW, what a change from my last experience when this was not a UF hospital. The staff, nurses, tech’s, and doctors were all wonderful. Especially nurse Carolina and DR Sal. The food was good, and I had choices. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was one night nurse, although even she got better. This is now our #1 go to hospital.

My wife, Carol Goble, was admitted with possible sepsis. The hospital did extensive testing to pinpoint the infection source and successfully treated to eradicate it. All of the hospital staff were super nice and attentive to her needs. And the new food menu was amazing and delicious. Overall, an unbeatable experience.

Had to visit the emergency room on Valentines Day to correct an AFIB episode. Considering how busy the hospital was, I was attended to in a rather timely manner. Dr ARRE was very professional with a pleasant upbeat personality that corrected my health issue. The only drawback was I was left in the treatment room for ~4 hours with no attendant offering me anything to drink or a restroom break...quite uncomfortable.
