Today’s visit was not as pleasant as it always was, but even with that, I give Westgate a 5/5 star. This is because the food I brought to the facility for John on Friday, he did not receive. The food was overlooked in the refrigerator. When I had delivered it the regular staff members were not present. However, the response I got from the staff member present today, caused me to overlook the error. They were so apologetic that I had to understand that human beings are fallible. So I continue to love the treatment at Westgate.

It is unbelievable how very professional each and everyone at this facility is. I have not had a negative encounter since the day I called and spoke to Elizabeth about securing a bed for John, less than a week ago. The process went smoothly from the start until the time I dropped the patient off yesterday. Thanks a million, Westgate. THANK YOU ELIZABETH!!!

Westgate continues to please me. I am in awe with how pleasant each member of staff is. The community is very peaceful and welcoming. Westgate is indeed a best kept secret!

I have been visiting my loved one for about six weeks now, and I continue to be impressed by the staff at Westgate. The professionalism of each and everyone does not go unnoticed. It really pleases me that so many people make it their business to learn the name of this new patient, and take an interest in what concerns him. Thank you Westgate for the caring attitude that you all show.

I am eternally grateful to Dian for the interest she takes in the patients that she cares for daily. I appreciate her honesty as she informs me of my loved ones’ behavior during my absence. That way I am able to intervene and speak to him about his conducts. I am aware of the difficulty of the job of contending with a patient with dementia, so I really thank Dian and all the other caregivers at Westgate for their patience and understanding.

I had been called by a patients family in order to come in and notarize as I perform mobile notary services in the area. Upon walking in, the receptionist was as polite as can be and explained exactly how to get to the room that I was going. The staff was courteous and I even had a chance to stop in and speak with social services. She was great. From my experience alone, not having a family member there and not having a specific reason for the staff to be so polite, they all did an outstanding job in making me feel welcomed. Very good encounters with all involved on today

While visiting my brother in law I was greeted by staff in a friendly manner. This facility is very clean. Their PT and OT departments are awesome . The nurses and CNA are great also.The dietary department needs improvement for their evening meals. They are serving cold sandwiches with not enough filling at 5:30 and nothing to eat until 8:30 the next morning.

The care my Dad received at Westgate was absolutely extraordinary. The team, under Keia's remarkable leadership, is genuinely special. The physical and occupational therapists, Stella and Audrey, were incredibly skilled and compassionate. Kat, my Dad's speech pathologist, went above and beyond. Their genuine care and dedication were evident in every interaction. The facility is immaculate, and the entire staff fosters an environment of confidence and true caring. They will always hold a cherished place in our hearts for the way they loved and supported my Dad. After being dropped at another local rehab facility, my 94 year young father in law was transferred to Westgate Health & Rehab Center. From the moment he entered the facility, he was treated with dignity and provided excellent care. It wasn't easy for my father in law or for me and my husband to watch him struggle through rehab. The rehab therapists - Kat, Audrey and Stella - pushed him and motivated him to keep going. They even allowed me and my husband to participate in his therapy. The nurses and aides on the floor were kind despite the work that they do being so very difficult. On October 22nd, one of the staff called to let me know that my father in law was taken to the hospital. Another wonderful staff member, Keia, called a few times to check on him and us. She is an amazing human being. Unfortunately, my dear father in law passed away. When we told the staff, they had tears in their eyes. They truly cared and that meant so much to us. I highly recommend Westgate over any facility in West Palm Beach. I researched all of them and made the wrong choice by choosing the facility with all of the glitz and glam. Don't believe the fancy commercials or scripted presentations. Stay away! Without hesitation, take your loved one to Westgate for superior care. Westgate Rehab Facility is like no other. From the minute you walk in the facility, you receive a greeting like no other place. They are sincerely happy to see you. It doesn’t stop there. Each and every employee says, “ “ “Hello”. The interaction with you sets the stage as you watch the care and intervention with the patients. If you have a Loved One that deserves the best of care and hospitality, it doesn’t come any better than Westgate. I have visited other facilities where my family member has been a patient. Nothing can compare to Westgate. You can’t go. wrong here.❤️

Staff needs to be complimented for their care and compassion given to their patients/clients. Responds to concerns timely and with resolutions, happy with the care provided for my husband as I am unable to manage on my own any longer. Some attention can be given to maintain consistency with meals, some days are not as good. However, a substitute is always available and offered. Cleanliness is maintained, Keep up the good work Westgate.
