Do not stay here or send anyone you care about here. I don't know about the assisted living, but the skilled nursing is a negligent, understaffed nightmare. There are some amazing people working there, but unfortunately not enough. Apparently the used to be amazing so they are just surviving off their reputation. Sadly, things have gone downhill.

Dear Administrative Staff and Directors

It is with heartfelt gratitude that I write this review of my experiences at the Westminster Rehab Community.
I didn't know it at first,but quickly realized I had been delivered into the hands of compassionate and professional care. The security and safety that embraced me was so comforting and gave me a real sense of peace and serenity.
My healing, recovery and rehabilitation was greatly influenced by the kindness from Mark,Joel,Sheila and Digna, and everyone.
I greatly appreciated the warmth extended to me from the community of residents and their welcoming and engaging hospitality and generosity.
The Special Recreational Team made the brightest differences of our afternoon, it really made a difference, made us laugh and brought so much joy.
The hard work that finally paid off came from the Physical and Occupational Therapy Department.
A truly remarkable team that I know that without them , I would not have recovered as well as I've had.
I'm very grateful to everyone who prepared and served our delicious meals. Now that I'm home, I miss the delicious and conscientiously well prepared meals.
I got the best rest knowing I was checked in on every night to see if everything was ok as they wished me a good night.
Thank you Scott for making sure everything was working well in my room.
Thank you for keeping my linens and room fresh and clean.
I felt that I was back home,safe and secure.
The nurses who took care of us were especially professional, hardworking,dedicated and gentle.

Had no issues here with the short term care for my dad. All of the staff were always very helpful and never hesitant to help. I love the limited number of beds available, which offers more attention to the patients. Rochelle was amazing in the entire process and giving great information and details every step of the way. There were a few interesting moments at times, but the issues were resolved and I was glad that my dad felt safe here.

This week, we took on the task of finding a place for the rehabilitation of our mother, who is hospitalized and will be discharged. Among the various options provided by the hospital, we chose this one due to its proximity to our home.

It turns out that when we received a call from the person in charge at this rehabilitation center (her name is Digna), the first thing this lady did was ask us if there would be someone to take care of our mother at home 24 hours a day when she returns after rehabilitation. We told her that, for the moment, there wouldn't be, but as a family, we would make the necessary arrangements to cover that. This lady then added, "It's just that when people can't take care of their family members, they usually abandon them here and never come to pick them up." Obviously, our response was that this would not be the case with us. The lady insisted, stating that people often left their relatives abandoned there, and if we didn't have someone to care for her, it could happen. Once again, we told her that we loved our mother and would never leave her to fend for herself. We tried to continue the conversation, attempting to initiate the process for transferring our mother, and this lady, in a very harsh manner, interrupted the talk and repeated her concern about us intending to abandon our mother there.

Honestly, we find it in very poor taste, highly unprofessional and unethical, and maybe even illegal, for this lady to assume, in the first phone call we received from this place, that we would abandon our mother there. If this is how they welcome new clients and patients, I can't even imagine how they treat those who are already admitted.

Certainly, considering taking our beloved mother to a place where they assume from the beginning that we will abandon her is no longer an option. Fortunately, there are other choices with much more professionalism and good customer care than this one.

Not a fan. The facilities are beautiful and shiny if you don’t mind the overpowering smell of the carpet spray. But there is no heart there. My mom was there about 2 years.. i was given very little notice to find a new place when she lost her mobility and very little help with coordination from the social services. I found a nursing home with fewer facilities and less “polish” but she was much happier. Views and silk flowers cannot make up for warmth and caring in the long run ..it felt like a greedy organization ..my impression is the staff are miserable by extension and so do their job efficiently but not with compassion. There are a few caring exceptions who do their best.
