My family used this company 20+ years ago to install a garage door opener. At the time, service was good. We recently needed a new installation and what a horrible difference. Problems are as follows:

Generic belt drive opener installed without a
single run of wire secured (no fasteners).

Rather than run new low voltage wiring for sensors or wall panel the installer elected to splice into 20yr old wiring.

Unit being replaced was a direct wire so instead of bringing a compatible unit installer decided to hide the live wire in the loft area and used an extension cord that was stored in the garage. Fire hazard!

This company did a poor job and I am now responsible for hiring an electrician to fix their mishaps.

A partial refund should be provided.

Technician installed a part for $260 and the garage never worked once. Was told need a whole new unit for $575 at that point. Would not credit work done to new unit at first. Manager "John" accused my wife and I of selective hearing over prices given over the phone, changed costs last minute, even said he may have misspoke about prices. Very dishonest and lots of fast talk. We ended up not doing business with them, glad we did.

Owner John F is rude! This company came to my house for repair on their door twice within a 4 week period (November 2019). The total cost was few dollars short of $500 which $335 was labor. I called to share a concern as to whether the first visit was diagnosed correctly and about the additional charges I incurred. Door was making a loud noise after the first visit I thought it was due to newness of cable. Both problems were related to cable. Explained to John F. who identified himself as owner my concern about additional visit and cost to me. He call me back and his response to my concern was extremely dismissive and borderline rude. I am a repeat customer over several years. This didn't seem to matter at all to John F the owner. He seemed to only be concerned about the money and didn't provide any discount at all. The best part was the response time to come out. However, the customer service provided by owner John F was very dismissive and rude. Because this is their door I wanted to have them continue to service it but after this encounter it confirmed their lack of appreciation for long time customers. Have to find a new person next time.

Last week the cable on the garage door came off the pins causing two rollers to come out of the tracks.
The repair man came out within an hour. He put the cable back on put the two rollers back in the tracks within 15 minutes. No parts were required.
The cost was $205.00
Was I happy about the services = Absolutely
Was I happy about the cost = Absolutely NOT
Will I recommend them....It depends...if you want to spend $205 for 15 minutes worth of work...I'd say go for it.

So glad I didn’t book with this company. The man who answered the phone was extremely rude and quoted me 285$ for a garage door seal replacement. Went with a different company that charged 135$. So unfortunate that as an E.P. resident trying to support an E.P. Business I couldn’t because of the ridiculous up charge and complete unprofessionalism. Do better.

This company is not honest. Talk with one of owner in the office. I asked about a service fee to assess the garage door. He did not answer me. So the next day the employee came and open my garage door over 5 and times and each time properly. He said couldn't repair z door that was working, stayed for about 10 minutes and charged me over a $140.00 dollars. Not a honesty business.

This Garage company scammed me because I am a women. W wood came to repair my garage in March and August 2019 for$239 each time. Same problem both times. October 7th spring and cord broke the third time. Couldn't find the recipt for August at first. I called to have them come back this month because they were just here in August for the same problem. w wood lied and said they didnt repair my garage in august. I finally found my recipt. I called them back they said " you still have to pay 150 for us to come out. Now I have my garage repaired correctly $500 later, I found out that they never repared the original problem they patched over it. This company was going to continue takingmy money and not repairing my garage.

I did not want to buy anything from this business after seeing the reviews. But out of desperation I went and was charged $25 which included a 4% charge for using a Credit card and $22 for a part I could get from the manufacturer for less than $3. Never again
