An unexpected delight. Our daughter (9) seemed to have the flu or strep. The receptionist at our local Urgent Care encouraged me to use their virtual visit as we suspected something that required a test to diagnose. There are appointments 24/7 and after the Dr. takes a look they are able to send the request for test to the system. You simply go to your local Urgent Care, sign in and are taken back for the tests almost immediately. We left and got the diagnosis 10 minutes after we got home. I’ll need to spread the word! This is amazing!

Made an appointment early on the morning we needed to go. That said, we always expect a wait- after all it’s urgent care and you just never know what medical needs will arise. The tv monitor kept us informed of wait times. The new facility is very nice, clean and spacious. Office ran smoothly. My son liked the snacks and water that were available. Medical staff was courteous and efficient. We love Catherine!

My son was showing cold-like symptoms, so we visited this place.

The front desk staff and the nurse were both professional, friendly, and very kind in their assistance.

However, the doctor, who was the most important part of the visit, showed almost no courtesy toward us. When we asked questions, she simply dismissed us, saying that the only thing we could do was rest, as if giving orders rather than offering advice.

We came to see a doctor, spending our time and money, because we were sick and wanted professional guidance on how to recover. Given her attitude and choice of words, I honestly feel that asking an AI would have provided a more reasonable and humane response.

I had an excellent experience during my visit to the Ridgefield location of Yale New Haven Urgent Care. I received great help from the receptionist at the Newtown location, who helped me schedule an appointment soon after my late afternoon call, in Ridgefield, where they still had same day appointments available. I had a short wait to be seen--5-7minutes. The nurse who took my vitals and info was excellent and care provider who saw me was also excellent, diagnosing my situation and providing both an over the counter and prescription option for my allergic outbreak condition. My visit was efficient and sufficiently resolved with attentive care. I'd recommend this urgent care center to anyone who asked.

I have been coming here for me or my kids for several years and they have always been fantastic.

Called on Christmas Day at 1:45 to see if they were open (online said 3) she said they were not seeing patients after 2. I asked her would they see me as a walk in. She said if I could be here by 2 they would. Instead I made a virtual appointment and the Dr said I needed to be seen for this particular visit and I told her they said they’re not taking patients after 2 and she informed me that wasn’t true and called to tell them I was on my way. I asked the girl at reception if she was the one I spoke to saying I couldn’t be seen after 2 and she told me she said if I got there soon. It was a total lie and I understand no one wants to be there all day on Xmas and I didn’t want to either but do t lie.

I had an appointment but still had to wait over 90 minutes to be seen. Once I was taken back to the exam room, the PA spent almost 30 minutes asking questions and taking my vital signs. The Dr. Was very friendly and efficient but the entire process was extremely long.

Very organized… staff is friendly & unrushed. The wait time is reasonable. My provider, Dr Shaheed, was delightful. His assessment was thorough & his recommendations were easy to understand & practical as well.
I’m a Nurse Practitioner and I highly recommend this facility to anyone seeking competent urgent medical care in the greater Ridgefield area!

Staff and Dr. DM are caring, professional and personable. I was admitted for appt quickly after arriving. Dr DM explained diagnosis and remedies thoroughly; addressing all of my concerns and questions without rushing. I absolutely recommend Yale New Haven Health’s Urgent Care office in Ridgefield, CT.
