Our homeschool group really enjoyed our field trip to the farm! We were a large group and they were very accommodating, setting up stations so that everyone got to see and do everything. The presenters were a wealth of knowledge on many subjects, and the kids enjoyed interacting at each station. The traditional music inside the school room was probably the favorite!

Amazing hidden gem! We learned so much through fascinating hands-on activities and historic interpreters who took time to explain so much about history and culture. Can't wait until our next visit!

We attended the Christmas in July and it was amazing! Bought crafts and baked goods, but the most fun of all was touring the old country store, the schoolhouse, and log cabins. The historic interpreters added so much.

Today I went and stopped by to scout for my personal family fall photos. We had been on site for no more than 3 minutes before we were approached. A woman on site was extremely rude and talked to me like I was a child when chastising me regarding the site being open by appointment only. Which, if you have not been to their website you would not know. I had no clue this was the policy. Which I am fine with. Here is where I take issue- I was with my daughter and this woman *Joanne, who is a board member and should know better*, berated me after she asked me to repeat their web address back to her. Who demands a visitor\grown woman repeat a web address back? Clearly I (as a 35 year old, college educated person) can surely use google and Facebook to find the museum site, info/policies, and board member information. I have never been treated with such disrespect especially when I was being understanding of the policies and informed her that I was unaware of their visiting protocol. I was polite until she got close to me and and daughter and demanded I repeat the address back to her to which I replied “Nevermind” and began to walk to my car. She then screamed “Just what I thought!”. How is this anyway to treat community members? How is this anyway speak to someone who’s child is with them. Clearly *Joanne* does not care if I bring my children back to visit the museum and site to learn more about Greenville’s history. Very displeased with the disrespect shown to us and would never refer anyone to visit this museum site or even donate funding.

This museum is inaccessible to the community. There should be regular hours to visit like any normal "museum" anywhere else in the country. It is a complete mystery and will hopefully end up in the right hands eventually. Originally from another state, I deeply enjoy visiting museums as a way to learn about our communities, our history, etc. This place has no value to the community as it is.

Attitude makes the difference when you are asking for donations! If the greeter(some old lady) is RUDE you will not receive a donation! You might need to make some changes !!! We were treated VERY POORLY!! We left right after entering . You should not tell someone to put their phone up and you might learn something !! An adult at that!
