Hace tres meses llegué a vivir a este lugar y me ha parecido excelente, la tranquilidad, las zonas verdes y vegetación y sobretodo la limpieza de los pasillos… se que la señora Maria Barnes hace un buen trabajo y dedicación además de todo una persona con la que me puedo comunicar ya que es colombiana como yo…. He visto cómo es atenta y comprometida con los residentes del lugar… admiración por todo su trabajo…

Since we got blindsided with the New company change from Cortland to Centra, this place has Deteriorated right before my eyes!! In such a short period of time! It almost seems like the new company is doing it on purpose, it’s so horrible!..I’ve been here 5 years! New staff doesn’t care about anything dealing with property cleanliness (people or environment)… Trash Everywhere!! All the time! Residents are allowed to leave trash in the hallways, so the halls Constantly smell! The staff will walk a possible future resident down those same halls with trash everywhere, that smell awful, and completely act like they don’t see or smell it, and do NOTHING about it… Valet trash doesn’t show up until night (which makes NO sense) so people will leave their funky trash out the Entire day!!..The staff is far too lazy to actually get off their ahh and view the property and see what a constant absolute disaster it is! …Trash outside is even worse! Constantly overflowing, bags of trash just thrown on the ground FOR DAYS! Nothing is done… Oppsums LIVE in our parking lot due to the trash issue and soon it will be swarming with roaches and rats! They’re moving in anything that looks like low income, I’m assuming they need to get units leased… Many of us who have been here long when it was a Cortland property are moving or have already moved OUT!!…The front staff are completely unprofessional and an embarrassment! Don’t let them fool you, they’re going to do whatever it takes to get you moved in!… (which means quality of people decline)…You will only see them in their phones, eating at a desk, talking amongst themselves, or simply doing nothing! If they weren’t actually sitting at the front desk you would never know they worked there! You can’t get them to do ANYTHING! Everything is someone else’s job and not theirs… Natasha is the only professional one but she can’t do it by herself poor thing! She doesn’t realize that she needs a complete new staff or just throw the whole company away!… I wouldn’t advise ANYONE to move here! Go down the street to a Cortland property!! This place hasn’t even been here a year and look how it’s drastically declined!! I love the location and what it USED to be but in reality I’m just hoping I can survive when they run it in the ground and a better company takes over, clean it up inside and out, bring it back to what it used to be which was the reason I moved here to begin with!!… This Property is NO LONGER luxury… if you don’t believe me, come see for yourself!! I’m sure you’ll be able to get in Because the gates are always broke (even right now) and have been since Centra took over!!… And trust me, when you walk through the front leasing door you will know who is who as far as staff!.. It’s actually a mess!… This property is NO Longer Quality!! …For this new Company,.. it’s only about Quantity!!

Do not move here! I’ve stayed here for more than 2 years. At first, Cortland was everything. Very clean and I had no problems. For the past two years, I have made several noise complaints and nothing has been done for 2 YEARS! Management always says to contact courtesy officer. Good luck with that because only after you’ve made complaints over and over will they go ahead and help. Yet, I’ve made over 5 complaints in the past week and nothing has been done. It’s impossible to sleep during the day and a struggle at night due to a noisy upstairs neighbor. I will not be signing a lease here again and actually would like to move out now. Not to mention, the elevator has been broken for months.

Update:
Weed smell has been coming through my apartment from the people living below making my clothes and furniture smell of weed. I have complained to management for months and was promised something would be done. Yet, every day my apartment smells of weed. Please don’t move here and pay expensive rent just to not be helped. I have exhausted all options. Management promised they would fix the issue and didn’t. I’ve asked to terminate my lease due to unresolved issues and this is only half. The property is also very dirty. There is feces in the elevator and hall. Trash covers the parking lot. Would not recommend. Please don’t sign here.

I enjoy living here overall, I like my home space and view. Special recognition to WILLIAM on the Maintenance Team for fixing the things in my place efficiently!

On a different note, I would like management to finally make the fire pit functional. That was a selling point, but it has not worked one day.

Also, some people with dogs let them eliminate in improper places like near the gate walkway, hallways and stairwells. That's completely unacceptable and I believe management is too lenient on those dog owners.

update 3/4/25:

Since posting the review below, the property manager, Natasha, met with me the same day & about has been very helpful - she saw my complaint right away and met with me individually to address my concerns, offer insight, explain what they’d done so far and are doing to address the issue, and proposed a plan with me. She gave me her direct line of contact if I had any further issues, and I haven’t heard a thing from upstairs in about a week.

I have lived in this community for 4 years. 3 with no issue.

Lately, I’ve dealt with a company and staff that have been rude, dismissive, and unprofessional.

The previous management, Cortland, ran a tight ship and were so professional and responsive at all times. Will with maintenance is always great too.

CENTRA, however- has been terrible to deal with. Emails? Week to respond. Phone call? No answer. Leave a message? No response. Good luck reaching the “courtesy officer” they keep telling you to call that NO ONE has ever seen or heard from because they don’t return any calls. I’ve asked other residents about it too, and it’s crazy!

I have filed numerous complaints about EXCESSIVE sound disturbances with neighbors, verbally and in written form, email and with phone calls, AND in person. The front office was rude af in person and weren’t willing to offer any real information or solutions - they seemed to get annoyed WITH ME for asking for help addressing my concern.

So disappointed in them so far.

TERRIBLE TREATMENT! The front office attendant named ASHLEY has the worst attitude I've ever encountered. She was immediately rude to me for no reason! Ashley acted as if I was a burden for even speaking to her about my inquiries. I would not recommend this apartment complex to anyone solely based on the possibility of having to deal with her terrible customer service skills! Since Ashley represents this complex, I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE stars. Your concerns will NOT be heard and they will be met with attitudes! Do not rent here.
