I do pastoral visits all over Metro Atlanta and regional Medical Center. Every time I come to Northside hospital Cherokee I met with excellent customer service, the medical staff are professional and polite. The patients that I visit have outstanding compliments regarding the medical team and staff as well. Not only is the hospital beautifully designed, parking is very easy, giving access to the entire facility without complication, spacious and cleanly wall-to-wall. One of the best hospitals I’ve ever been to.

I normally always have a great experience with Northside. The labor and delivery side is absolutely amazing. The emergency room side on the other hand is ridiculous. I have NEVER had such a terrible experience in my life. I went in because I had an infection from surgery that was getting worse. I was in so much pain yet they still had me sit in the waiting room 4 hours! Four hours of pain and I watched people come in after me and go back before me. They claimed my room was being cleaned yet when I finally got put in one, the sheets were dirty, the floor was dirty with used things all over the floor, I was given no blanket no pillow, nothing. It took the doctor an hour to order a swab! I froze still sitting in pain. Clearly they didn’t think anything was wrong by how the doctor spoke to me. Now had my infection turned into sepsis and cause kidney failure, maybe someone would listen. When I asked the nurse to just discharge me because she said twice she was going to do an exam and left for an hour each time, she got an attitude. I sat for 6 hours, nothing for pain. I could have just done that at home. I never complain, I never leave reviews because I know everyone has a bad day, but so many things happened that should not have happened that I could not keep quiet. I am so incredibly disappointed in this hospital and the ER staff. Do better. Next time, I’ll just make the drive to Kennestone. I could have been seen and back in bed. Absolutely terrible.

My husband had burr hole (brain surgery) here on Monday. I would like to give a shout out to the doctor’s, nurses and staff (volunteers too) at this wonderful hospital. Everything was nothing less than perfect. Their customer (patient) service is second to none. Especially the nurses on the 8th floor (Chelsea, Alice, Chloe and some that we can’t remember their names). My husband received excellent care!! Everyone has such a positive attitude and a love for their patients. And those who drive the shuttles to and from the parking lots are so kind and friendly. We feel so fortunate to have a hospital of this excellent caliber near us. Keep up the great work!!

Everything was amazing and wonderful. I traveled 6 hours to have my procedure done at this facility. I have no regrets. The whole experience was good. Everyone I interacted with was nice, courteous, and knowledgeable. I would not change anything about the whole process. The hospital itself was also amazing clean and welcoming.

I’m really sorry I have to post this. My surgery and the staff were great and Would have been 5 stars but the billing process was overwhelming. I paid my max out of pocket and got bills for 8 months every other day with $0 balance due. Then 8 months later got a bill saying I owed $1000 and calls from collectors who could not tell me how this was possible. They were willing to accept 80% if I paid them at the time. They finally sent it to a collector associated with a law firm and robo called me for the last few months for me to call them. They were even worse and putting it nicely need a lot of training.
