Love Dr. Kanjira and her staff. Dr. Kanjira is personable and knowledgeable. They are friendly, professional and do a great job of processing patients in a timely manner and making sure you are well taken care of.

I am a long-time patient of Piedmont who moved from one side of the city to the other. To establish care closer to my new home, I made an appointment at North Druid Hills for an annual exam. Unbeknownst to me, I made the appointment with a visiting physician who fills in when the practice has a vacancy. On the day of my appointment, despite the hour-long wait, I was pleasantly surprised at the genuine interest and attention I received from the physician. However, I learned during the appointment that this was not someone who would continue my care. Disappointing but I was assured that any loose ends could be tidied up by the regular MD she was handing me off to and that I could be seen again in one year by that new physician. Sadly, the expectation set was not honored by the Practice Manager. Ultimately I was told in no uncertain terms I would need to see another physician at the practice to tie up the loose ends even though I was told would be seamlessly handed off. Time, energy, and money spent on the visiting physician were in large part wasted. No continuity of care and I was unable to fulfill any of the normal things that often come after an annual visit without investing more time, energy, and money in a visit that would serve the same purpose as the one the month before. The moral of the story is, that Piedmont processes are fallible like any other institution. What sets this practice apart is its utter failure to recognize when those fallibilities should not penalize the patient.
If you want great care from the entire team, go elsewhere.

p.s. if this review receives a canned reply from the "owner" you can assume that this is feedback for the public and I already expressed my concern directly. If North Druid Hills wanted to do the right thing, they had plenty of opportunity before I left the review.

had an exceptional experience with JERRY SCOTTS at Piedmont Physician. From the moment I walked in, I felt comfortable and truly cared for. Jerry took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, answer all of my questions, and explain my treatment options clearly. His expertise, combined with his compassionate approach, made a huge difference in my care. I appreciate how thorough and dedicated he is, always ensuring I fully understand the next steps. Dr. Fuller is an excellent doctor, but unfortunately, this office is a nightmare. We moved recently, so after researching new primary care doctors, my boyfriend was seen by Dr. Fuller and was prescribed 3 months worth of his usual ADHD medication that he’s taken for years. She told him to simply call the office when he needed a refill. The problem is, the office is impossible to reach. You can only contact a scheduler who works from home. They’re extremely unpleasant to talk to, and because they work from home, you can’t speak to a supervisor (or so they say).

We also tried using the online portal, but received a response saying an appointment would need to be made to get a refill. My boyfriend responded explaining that Dr. Fuller said to simply call the office for a refill. He hadn’t received a response for a few days, so he sent a follow up message, and someone responded with, “Dr. Fuller hasn’t seen the message yet because, as you know, she’s only in the office one day a week which is Tuesdays.” That one made me laugh. We must’ve missed the schedule. Also, I have never heard of a doctor working one day a week. Due to the careless, ill-mannered, good-for-nothing staff that you’re forced to go through, I do not recommend this place. It’s back to the drawing board to find a new doctor.

If you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring physician who is patient and listens, you won’t be disappointed with the doctors at “Piedmont Physicians at North Druid Hills.” Dr. Johnny Harris is top notch. I am extremely happy with the care I have received.
