Won't help with anything and transfer you if it is something serious. They have people die in the waiting room waiting for help. Either waiting for transfer or not getting seen. Nurses joke and banter at each other about patients conditions in ear shot of other patients. Never get to see a doctor either. Basically just a urgent care with imaging equipment and a lab. This is where you go when you know what you have, because they won't know.

I was referred to the ER by WellNow. I’ve been sitting here for 4 hours and haven’t even been triaged. They don’t even know why I’m here. I came here because PH Elk ER is terrible and local people have said they’re now going to Kane and DuBois. 4 hours and all that’s been done is patient registration. I’m leaving. Maybe if I have to come back in an ambulance they’ll see me.
After reading the Response from Owner, I went to their Feedback form and UPMC Kane isn’t even listed as a facility. I could choose Other, but I don’t feel it would be worth my time. Shame on you, UPMC Kane. There’s no excuse for not triaging, within 4 hours, a patient whom you accepted into your facility. I would have accepted a long wait given how busy they were, if I had been given some kind of attention even ONCE!

My husband fell at camp and injured his ankle. The X-rays didn’t show anything serious, but his provider, Adam Griffith, took his complaint seriously and ordered a CT of his ankle. The CT showed that his ankle was indeed broken. High praise to Dr Griffith for taking the time to look for the correct diagnosis! My husband’s orthopedic doctor in Pittsburgh also mentioned that Dr Griffith was on the ball!

My mother has copd and heart failure about a month ago she went in
Because she could not breathe. They sent her home with medication within five hours. My dad was carrying her to the truck to drive her because she was out of oxygen.. I get there and the nurse asked me if I wanted to do life-saving treatments on her or not and basically said that this was it and I needed to Make a decision I went in the hallway and cried and cried to find out that when I told them that she was still vaping, they took a blood oxygen test and realized how bad she was. They ended up lighting her to Erie. It took almost a week for her to get better but she did get better and she was sent home today. She went back to Erie Hospital or I’m so sorry Kane hospital because she felt like she could not breathe today. They did test and put her on medicine again and sent her home, I called and asked the nurse Wendy how everything was going and yeah I called three times she’s my mother she’s my best friend and last time I called Wendy hung up on me.

Took my 10 year old son there we were in and out in no time. The staff were wonderful and he feeling better now. I would drive the 30 mins instead of waiting 6 hours at the local hospital. Plus the local clinic didn’t take his insurance and apparently don’t take cash. Thank you to the Kane hospital staff

I went in for a scheduled appointment today. Walked in and told the receptionist my name and why I was there. I was told to take a seat and someone would be out to get me in a minute. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before going back to the window and asked if someone would be out to get me and they had no idea I was there. This was my second trip to Kane hospital I’m still receiving a bill from my first visit that my insurance and kane hospital says is paid. I will not be giving them $180 to be told I was having an allergic reaction when I walked in and told them I was having an allergic reaction.

The nurses were really nice and understanding of me being worried about my bleeding during pregnancy. The doctor was horrible. He did a cervix check and told me the bleeding was normal and pretty make didn’t care at all about my certain. Literally the next day after I had my miscarriage.
